Immersive online live performances through an interactive band
With the pandemic, many events went into digital space. Within a research study, I explored how online art performances can be enhanced via collaborative tech. Interviews and prototyping iterations led to the design of an interactive band allowing the audience communicate with the actors through heat. This project trained my interviewing and analysing skills, as well as the interconnection of data with design ideation.
A smart pot connected to a guiding app
Using Arduino I built a smart pot which measures data about the enivronment of a plant. This smart pot is connected with a mobile app, which allows children to learn about the environment and guide them through plant care. Within this project I learned a lot about design for childern and the use of prototyping technology.
UI Redesign, Newsletter Marketing & SEO for higher Conversion Rate
As an intern at Otto GmbH & Co. KG, my primary objective was to enhance the Conversion Rate while optimising User Experience. To achieve this, I refined Search Engine Optimization strategies to streamline user navigation and facilitate easier access to desired content. Additionally, I proposed UI design enhancements aimed at providing intuitive guidance throughout the website's interface. As a complementary initiative, I implemented Newsletter Marketing to further engage and inform our audience
Emotion-based driving assistant in a head-up display
During my bachelor's degree, I developed a concept for a driving assistant capable of detecting the driver's emotions and providing support to enhance focus. Creating a prototype demonstration in the form of a head-up display was a challenging process that involved mastering advanced animation techniques using After Effects.
Concept for a new car sharing app together with students from Bangalore
While studying, I joined a project in Bangalore to develop a concept for a new car-sharing service. Working with students from India, we created a business plan and designed the app interface. Our use of blockchain highlighted its ability to improve both speed and security in transactions.
New website for a hotel in Finland
Back in 2017, one of my first Design projects was to design a website for a hotel on the countryside in Finland. After working out the Information Architecture, I set up the website using Wordpress including the possibility for online bookings. Additionally, I lined out a Marketing plan for future Paid Ads and Social Media Marketing. This approach ensured not only a user-friendly website but also laid the groundwork for effective promotional campaigns to drive traffic and engagement.
